Arabic School of Chicago

Curriculum

Our curriculum is rooted in our mission to foster the Christian Ramallah family by means of providing educational, humanitarian, charitable, and cultural programs as well as social interaction. We aim to educate our members so that they can promote our culture and heritage to those outside our community and the American public at large.

Our classes create a fun and engaging environment where students build confidence in speaking and understanding Levantine Arabic, the dialect used in our community. Through interactive lessons, students develop listening and conversational skills while exploring the cultural significance of the language.

To support all learners, classes are held in small groups, allowing for personalized instruction at varying proficiency levels. Students will learn to recognize and pronounce the Arabic alphabet, expand their vocabulary, and develop basic conversational skills. Lessons will also integrate cultural connections, helping students deepen their understanding of the language within its historical and everyday context.
